The Maniac Foundation is dedicated to transforming communities through education, wellness, serving families in need and other charitable causes. It was established in 2020 by NFL All-Pro Linebacker, Shaquille Leonard and his wife Kayla.
Shaquille Leonard was a standout student athlete at Lake View High School in South Carolina. After high school, he enrolled in South Carolina State University and led the team in tackles as a redshirt freshman. He was a first-team all-conference selection as a sophomore, and named the MEAC defensive player of the year in 2016 and 2017.
The Indianapolis Colts drafted Shaquille in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He was a First-Team All-Pro selection in 2018, 2020, and 2021 and a Second-Team All-Pro selection in 2019, along with being a three-time Pro Bowl selection.
His presence is felt on and off the field, for he is a constant volunteer in his NFL and Lake View communities.
